She is one of North America's top executive compensation attorneys, and is a co-author of the popular treatises "Section 409A Handbook", and "Global Share Plans: Issues for Multinational Employers". She is known as a deal-maker and practical problem solver. She represents both employers and executives on deferred compensation (Section 409A), negotiating executive agreements, and design and taxation of U.S. and global equity plans. She was the co-chair of the Executive Compensation practice at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from 2005-2016, and was previously an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell for over six years. She is sometimes known as the "409A Whisperer" and is a popular speaker and author on these topics.
