My practice focuses on leasing, and I have personally done hundreds of office/retail/restaurant/warehouse leases for large national retailers and smaller local ones over the past 20 years. Our clients don't like us to represent landlords too, so we solely focus on the tenant side. I also assist retailers and tenants with various operational issues, such as facilitating store closures, negotiating and drafting early termination agreements, resolving disputes with landlords, collecting tenant improvement allowances from landlords, title review and title insurance, and reviewing or drafting estoppel certificates, landlord work letters, subordination and nondisturbance agreements, lease guaranties, and consents.
