STEFAN R. STOYANOV

For more than a decade I have been assisting companies and individuals with matters involving all aspects of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and other Intellectual Property issues, including litigation to defend against, or to assert infringement; patent and trademark prosecution and registration; various transactions, such as licensing, technology transfers, due diligence, IP portfolio management, and others. Due to my engineering and software background my matters often involve mechanical designs and manufacturing, computer software, electronics, semiconductors, and complex technologies. After spending a decade at top national law firms, in 2014, I founded Stoyanov Law with the goal of providing the highest quality services clients expect from a large top tier law firms but with the personal attention and cost-effectiveness only a small firm can provide. Prior to law school I developed a successful career as an engineer writing software in various programming languages, and engineering hardware and software systems in the fields of robotics, automotive manufacturing, manufacturing process automation and materials handling, database management, data collection, semiconductor processing, networking and communications, business systems (EMS, ERP), and graphical user interfaces.
