I am a tax and business attorney with nearly 30 years of experience advising on the tax consequences of business transactions, including the formation of partnerships and limited liability companies, the formation and mergers of real estate investment trusts, cross-border acquisitions and reorganizations, and aircraft acquisitions. I also provide advice with respect to IRS examinations, and develop legal strategies for IRS appeals. I have assisted a number of nonprofits in obtaining section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
